NICK CARBÓ
Nick Carbó was born in Legazpi, Albay in Bicol, Philippines. He graduated from St. Mary’s University in the United States with a BA in English and Sarah Lawrence College with an MFA in Creative Writing. He has authored five books of poetry the latest being Chinese, Japanese, What are these? He has also been awarded fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, and the New York Foundation for the Arts. He has served as poet-in-residence in universities like Columbia College, Chicago, the University of Miami, and the New College of Florida.
